She was predeceased by: her parent Floye Rider Moss. She is survived by: her sisters, Edna Odom, Pauline Rider, Cleo Moss, Leona Rider, Bonnie Lou Edwards, Viola Sheffield, Edith Mincey, Adell Bruce and Marvine Grizzle; her husband Ervin Barrett; her children, Stacy Barrett (Tami), Steve Barrett (Heather) and Dana Sullens (David); her grandchildren, Jesse Barrett (Allie), Abby Fisher (Nick) and Jake Barrett; and her brother Leon Moss. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Hightower Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Missions From The Mountains, in memory of Mrs. Josie.
