He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Ernest Richards Sr. and Annie Lou Grant Richards; his wife Wally Sue Dressing Richards; and his brother Jimmy Richards. He is survived by: his daughter Leslee; his son-in-law Whitney Fuchs of Gainesville; his siblings, Patsy Ayers of Gainesville and Jack Richards of Mt. Rainey, MD.; his grandchildren, Emma (Scott Boyer) and Lowell (Jessie Fuchs); and his pet Johnny.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Union Memory Gardens Cemetery (430 Ledford Rd, Blairsville, GA 30512).
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Lumpkin Coun ty Humane Society of to a favorite humane society of your choice in Bud's memory.
