It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvene Grizzle of Dahlonega, Georgia, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Floye Rider Moss; her husband Grizzle; and her sisters, Edna Odom, Pauline Rider, Leona Rider, Viola Sheffield, Bonnie Lou Edwards, Edith Mincey, Adell Bruce and Cleo Moss.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon of Dahlonega, Mike Johnson of Dahlonega, Jody of Dahlonega and Denise Grizzle of Dahlonega; her brother Leon; her sister-in-law Doris Moss; her sister Josie; her brother-in-law Ervin Barrett; her grandchildren, John, Amanda Hodge, Britny, Matt Lynch, Brandon Johnson, Anthony, Carie Johnson, Jessica, Jason Humphries, Kindra and Micheal Heldreth; her great grandchildren, Kailyn, Jaxon, Xaden, Cierra, Mia, Lila, Kinsley, Zachary, Logan, Easton, Bella and Adaline; and her close friends, Justin Tolbert, Chance Fields, Nina Moss and Vickie Burns. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
