He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Monroe Hawkins, Sr. and Mary Nell Smith Hawkins; and his brother-in-law Theo Carl Whitehead. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Whitehead of Gainesville and Tony; his sister-in-law Amy Hawkins of Cleveland; his nephews, Joseph Kyle Hawkins of Lawrenceville and Chadwick Taylor Whitehead of Gainesville; his girlfriend Helen Yvonne Reece; and his close friends, Robert Hood, Chris Wingo and Jeff Davidson.
