With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Howland in Dahlonega, Georgia, born in LaGrange, Georgia, who passed away on January 29, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Albert Ray Howland, Sr. and Aurelia Adams Howland; and his daughter Nancy Anne Howland Brown. He is survived by: his wife Linda Mount Howland; his sons, Ray Wycliffe Howland (Nancy) and James H. Howland (Smita); his stepchildren, Brook Smith (Pam), Joe Smith and Mark Smith (Niki); his sister Eva Claire Howland; his grandchildren, Briana Howland, Daniel Howland (Katie), Lloyd Brown (Natalie), Adam Brown (Lauren), Aurelia Rae Brown, Josh Smith (Dana), Harrison Smith, Dakota Smith, Lilly Smith and Phoebe Smith; and his great grandchildren, John Robert Howland and Hutson James Brown.
