He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Raleigh" Gibson and Mattie Dowdy Gibson; his siblings, Fannie Lois Stutzman (Bob), Bertie Mae Cain (Horace), Robert C. Gibson, Dorsey Gibson and Ernest Gibson (Frances); and his granddaughter Isabella Spampinato.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Gibson; his children, Jeromy Fenton (Jennifer) and Jessica Sauter (Ryan); his grandchildren, Connor Kruzich and Kerri Rosser; his brother Stan Gibson; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia Gibson and Gladys Gibson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
