The passing of Ruby Davis of Dahlonega, Georgia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 10, 2025 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vester Brown and Irene Brown (Flanagan); her husband Leeman Davis; her son Phillip Davis; her daughters-in-law, Linda Davis and Kathy Davis; and her granddaughter Charlotte Reeves.
She is survived by: her children, James Davis (Carolyn), Jimmy Davis, Deborah Adams (James) and Lamarce Davis (Michael Rhoden); her brother Daniel Brown (Mary Lou); her brother-in-law Dan Davis (Dola); and her grandchildren, Darin Davis, Jamie Boggus (Tony), Brian Davis (Becky), Todd Davis (Teresa), Christopher Davis (Candace), Daina Askea and Greg Adams (Candace Parker). She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home (2068 US-19, Dahlonega, GA 30533). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the Davis Family Cemetery.
