He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Davis and Gardie Holtzclaw; his siblings, Birdie, Bertha Holtzclaw, Lora Upchurch, Grace Greenway, Helen Burt, Leila Gooch, Walter and Dean Holtzclaw; and his grandson Jeremy Wehunt.
He is survived by: his wife Nell Holtzclaw; his children, Tim Holtzclaw (Shari) and Denise Bryant (Skipper); his granddaughters, Emily Smith (Kirk), Jessy Holtzclaw and Sara Mabe (Casey); and his great grandchildren, Jagger Tallant, Jetson Feidler, Eyla Mabe, Jonah Mabe, Virginia Mabe, Levi Smith and Eliza Smith.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Underwood Funeral Home (2068 US-19, Dahlonega, GA 30533). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bethlehem Jones Cemetery.
