It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie Abercrombie of Dahlonega, Georgia, who passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Vickie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Vickie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Hood and Sondra Hood; and her father-in-law John Abercrombie. She is survived by: her husband Glenn Abercrombie; her son Phillip Abercrombie (Alex); and her sisters, Angie (Daniel Eaton) and Tammie (Donald Garrett). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bearden Funeral Home (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (2649 Oak Grove Rd, Dahlonega, GA 30533).
