He was predeceased by: his siblings, Rufus L. Davis and Sammie Lane Davis. He is survived by: his wife Jean Davis; his son Edwin Davis (Debbie); his grandson Chris Gilbert (Mandy); his great grandchildren, Hayden Gilbert of Dahlonega and Annalee Gilbert of Dahlonega; and his caregivers, Leon, Jeannine Burt, Mary Chism, Anita Castleberry, Amy Grissom, Lexie Aaron, Amy Hunter and Sandy Martin.
