He is survived by : his wife Sandra Hayes Smallwood; his children, Devon Ledford (Shelly) of Commerce, Tiffany Long (Derek) of Cleveland, Jessica Toms (Ryan) of Gainesville, Troy Hayes (Tonya) of Dahlonega, Trae Hayes (Brooke) of Dahlonega, Andrew Smallwood of Dahlonega and Jennifer Smallwood of Dahlonega; his sisters, Janice Stringer (Joe) of Dahlonega and Nancy Chambers (Jason) of Dahlonega; his grandchildren, Dustin, Skylar, Xander, Logan, Grayson, Watson, Haley, Brent, Cashton, Wesley, Maci, Ella, Dray Douglas, Faye and Venadee; his brother-in-law James Redmon Jr.; and his close friends, Susan Blackwell and Darrell Hullett. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
