She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Noah Ridgeway and Willa Ridgeway; her siblings, Glyndon Ridgeway (Rose) and Roy Ridgeway (Vivian); and her husband John P. Thompson, Jr..
She is survived by: her sister Evelyn Dooley (late Charles); her children, Cyril Thompson (Sharon), Charissa Smith (David), Cheryl McGee (late Ed) and Craig Thompson (Deana); and her caregivers, Anna, Will, Gail, Fran, Linda, Donna, Ashley and Jonnie. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren; by her 8 great-grandchildren; and by the many friends.
