She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Craft Howell and Nellie Mae Howell; and her siblings, Elizabeth Kidd, Craft Junior Howell and Wadus Dean Howell.
She is survived by: her husband David L. Hughes; her daughters, Darlene Hughes Kittrell of Columbus, GA and Dr. Pamela Hughes Adeli (Goshi) of Acworth, GA; her grandchildren, Allison Adeli Moran (Robert), Dr. Caroline Grace Kittrell and Alex Adeli (Kenley); and her great grandchildren, Hudson, Mason, Rowan Moran and Hayden Adeli.
