He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloph Clarence Parks and Gladys Duran Chapman Parks; and his siblings, Eddie Parks, Leroy Parks, Jerry Parks, Jeanette Prather, Joan DeFoor and Wilma Parks.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Parks; his children, Tracy Marbut (Ricky) and Larry Parks (Selina); his grandson Tyler Marbut; and his siblings, Betty McNabb, Judie Russell and Wayne Parks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the USO Wounded Warrior Project.
