He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William and Lillian Tidwell; his wife Sheila; his children, Tina Thomason (Ray), Stacey Kirksey (Kelly), Brannon Kirksey (Shelly), Tonya Cole (Don) and Donnie Tidwell (Karen); his grandchildren, Scott Littlefield (Autumn), Krista Mitchell (Jeremy), Mary Kate Kirksey (Alex), Mia, Ashlyn Governale, Zach Kirksey (Regan), Gavin Kirksey (Savanna), Ali Kirksey, Haley Arrowood (Josh), Jacob Cole (Chandler), Kenzie McFarland (Patrick) and Austin Tidwell (Heather); his great grandchildren, Oliver, Booker Littlefield, Stephen Mitchell, Emory, Wilder Arrowood, Coleson McFarland, Bella, Jaxson and Wyatt Tidwell; his siblings, Nesa Panter (Johnny) and Joey Tidwell (Patricia); his sisters-in-law, Darlene Clay (Art) and Angel Byrd (Ken); and his close friends, Heather and Concha.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home, Inc. (309 Hardee St, Dallas, GA 30132). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
