He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Hester and Inez Hester. He is survived by: his wife Sue Hester; his children, Brian Hester (Jamie), Justin Hester (Jennie) and Wendy Hester; his sister Joy Palmer (Ed); his sister-in-law Nancy Hester; and his grandchildren, Logan Hester, Dennis Hester, Dawson Hester, Branton Hester, Garrison Hester, Grayden Hester, Gracelyn Hester and Gretchen Hester. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). The lying in state will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church (3885 Lee St, Acworth, GA 30101). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
