He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Eugene Powell and Myra Elrod Powell; and his daughter Connie Gann. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Powell; his son Brian Powell (Lynette); his grandchildren, Machelle Wright (David), Brett Powell (Haley) and Landon Powell; and his great grandchildren, Steven, Aleigha, Presley, Connor, Bentley, Jett and Ava. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home, Inc. (309 Hardee St, Dallas, GA 30132). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
