He was predeceased by: his father Joe Cannon McElreath, Sr.; and his brother Johnny McElreath. He is survived by: his mother Dottie Mae Weaver McElreath; his wife Jeanette Marie Hommel McElreath; his children, Victoria McElreath, Joe McElreath, III, Nevaeh McElreath, Madison McElreath and Matthew McElreath; his grandchildren, Tristan McElreath, Killian McElreath and Xzavier McElreath; and his sisters, Donna Beaman and Shannon Bell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home, Inc. (309 Hardee St, Dallas, GA 30132). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers dontations towards the funeral services are appreciated.
