We announce the death of Joel Lee Daily of Dallas, Georgia, who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 77. Joel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Joel will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Joel’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lee Daily and Verna Mae Brigham Daily; and his siblings, Jimmy and Barbara Atkins. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Daily; his children, Zayden Sweatman, Amy Chaplin (Mike) and Chanda Cattadoris; and his sisters, Evelyn Hall (Searcy) and Betty Owens. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clark Funeral Home & Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sam Clark Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
