He was predeceased by: his parents, James Frank and Carry Taylor; and his wife Mary Taylor. He is survived by: his children, John Taylor II (Jocelyn), Richard Taylor (Shelly), Tanya Barber (Tommy) and Lisa Hicks; his brother Jimmy Taylor (Connie); and his pets, Riley and Lacy. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home & Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141-1827). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sam Clark Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141-1827). A burial will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery (86 Hart Rd, Dallas, GA 30157).
