He is survived by: his siblings, Willie and Pat; his wife Bonnie Ivey; his children, Christopher Leon Ivey and Bonnie Chastain; his grandchildren, Timothy Shone McDonald, Thomas Nicholas McDonald (Heather), Lyric Gordon, Kayla Herron (Jason), Kara Sutton, Kaycee Fore (Jason), Aaron Blary and Anna Blary; his great grandchildren, Peyton McDonald, Andrew McDonald, Landon Porretto, Jake McDonald, Ryan Sutton, Cheyenne Herron, Cooper Sutton, Sophia Fore, Josie Fore and Adalee Herron; his daughter-in-law Laura Hall; and his sisters, Mable Holbrook and Pearl Schultz. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
