He is survived by: his children, Deby Spangler (Langvin), Susan Pirkey (Langvin) and Adam Langvin; his grandchildren, Katharyn Spangler, John Spangler, Geoffry Spangler, Alexandria Pirkey-Gerdes, Rhys Pirkey and Maddox Pirkey; his great grandchild Coraline Spangler; and his sisters, Mary Wiese and Linda Kish.
