She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Howard and Rosa Howard; her husband Bob; and her siblings, Ralph Howard, John Howard, Allen Howard, Inez Rowlett, Delores Hickey, George Howard and Peggy Richardson.

She is survived by: her children, Bobby Howard (Chantay) and Mickie Wright; her grandchildren, Alyssa Sitten (Bart), Matthew Wright and Jesse Howard (Megan Matla); and her great grandchildren, Brayden Howard, Camdyn Sitten, Kyler Sitten and Wrenley Howard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
