We announce the death of Rebecca L. Austin of Dallas, Georgia, who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 65. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Hicks and Sallie Hicks; her husband John "Hippy" Austin; and her siblings-in-law, Horace Gulledge and Diane Gulledge.

She is survived by: her niece Tiffany Hicks Pope; her daughter Jennifer Austin; and her siblings, Mike Hicks (Becky) and Susan Isreal.
