With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Hal Stieglitz in Dallas, Georgia, born in Cordele, Georgia, who passed away on October 9, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Bernard Stieglitz and Annie Laurie Dupree Stieglitz; his wife Patricia Gail Odom; his daughters, Melody Shipp Boggs of Rome, GA and Misty Boling (Chip); and his grandchildren, Jenifer Ahrens (Bryan) of Rome, GA, Zachary Boggs (Dominique), Thayer Boling, Maggie Boling, Abigail Boling, Elizabeth Anne Boling and Charleston. He was also cherished by three great grandchildren.

Contributions may be made in his honor to Westminster Presbyterian Church, Rome GA.

“Words are so hard to come by at this time. I only knew Richard for a short time but was drawn to his always positive personality and caring way with people. He loved music and especially the songs of Patsy Cline which he always wanted me to sing. I am no Patsy Cline but he treated me like I was. This always meant so much to me. I know Richard's family are missing a very special family member and many friends will be lost without him. But his memory will remain in my heart always.”
