Robert Eugene Lester Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Eugene Lester of Dallas, Georgia, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on March 24, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Inus Eugene Lester and Irene Paris Lester; and his daughter Leanne Lester Smith (Scot). He is survived by: his wife Denise Sanders Lester; his son David Eugene Lester (Christie); his sister Virginia Carroll (Ed); his grandchildren, Amanda Miller (Michael), Kohl Lester and Zachary Smith of Rockmart, GA; and his great grandchildren, Kaytlynn Bates and Wyatt Wallace of Villa Rica, GA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
