She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Calhoun Young and Bessie Lou Latham Young; her husband Carl David Rickels; and her daughter Karen Ann Rickels Wallace. She is survived by: her son William Russel Rickels (Dana Reed Rickels) of Fremont, NC; her siblings, Diane Young Burge of Stockbridge, GA and John David Young of Douglasville, GA; and her grandchildren, Jerri Janelle Wiggans, Coleman Tanner Rickels, April Lucinda Wallace, Cynthia LeAnn Wallace and Grace Wallace Casey. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
