She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Oscar Green (Jessie) and Jessie Mae Lee Green; her son Kirk Strickland; and her siblings, Margery Roberts and Ted Green.
She is survived by: her husband Joe W. Strickland; her daughter Kara Holt (David); her daughter-in-law Kristi Myers (Steve); her grandchildren, Jess Holt, Brett Strickland (Heather), Jennifer Pierce (Layne) and Mackenzie Ferguson; and her great grandchild Dylan Strickland.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Benson Funeral Home, Inc. (309 Hardee St, Dallas, GA 30132). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dallas 1st United Methodist Church (141 E Memorial Dr, Dallas, GA 30132).
