He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Leslie Gay Cole and Gladys Whitley Cole; his wife Roberta Cole (Bobbye); his daughter Robin Cole Stockard; his son-in-law Mark Stockard; his grandchildren, Cole, Connor and Campbell Stockard; his daughter Sandee Hooper; his sisters, Mary Kathryn Butler of Gainesville, GA and Linda Cole Mitchell of Gloucester Point, VA; his nephew Trent Butler (Butler); his nieces, Whitley Mitchell (Wendy) of Gloucester Point, VA and Vandy Hare Wade of Birmingham, AL; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Hare of Dalton, GA..
