It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arva Nell Hanes of Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank W. Hanes; her mother Faye S. Howell; and her siblings, Charles, Dare Moulton and Faye Marks.

She is survived by: her daughter Connie Hanes; her sibling's children, Rodger, Dwayne Sutherland, Debby Boyd, Larry Hanes, Carol Cline, Charlene Ruddell and Cheryl Smith; her sister-in-law Geneva Hanes; and her granddaughters, Alondra and Miranda Rivera.
