She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Smith; her parents, W. G. "Bill" Stansell and Ora E. Stansell; her brother Bill Jr.; her sister-in-law Barbara Stansell; her sister Helen; her brother-in-law Nathan Powell; and her son-in-law Brad Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy (Dean Cochran) and Jennifer (Shane Rider); her grandchildren, Emily Blevins (Kevin), Sarah Cucksee (Jesse) and Abbey Jones; and her great grandchildren, Josie Blevins, Audra Blevins, Jackson Cucksee and Andrew Cucksee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
