She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Walsh and Leon Harrison Walsh. She is survived by: her stepsons, Donnie Phillips (Sandra) and Ivan Phillips (Leah); her stepgrandchildren, Blakely Winicki (Patrick), Hunter Phillips, Lauren Phillips, Isaac Phillips and William Phillips; her brother Harold Walsh (Nancy); the father of her child Reverend Bill Putnam; her husband Don Phillips; and her sister Peggy Bailey (Donald).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to South Dalton Baptist Church in honor of Mrs. Betty Putnam Phillips.
