He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Jackson and Violet G. Robbs Jackson; his wife Helen Stallings Jackson; and his siblings, Dorothy Jackson, James Miller "Samp" Jackson, Donald Jackson and Chester Jackson.
He is survived by: his nephew Gerald Stallings (Vanessa) of Martinez, Georgia; his siblings, Lillie Mae Griffin and Marvin Jackson (Betty) of LaFayette, Georgia; his sister-in-law Carolyn Jackson; and his aunts, Martha Harris and Robbie Anderson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, other extended family, friends, and his church family.
