It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christopher Lee Chastain of Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Chastain (Betty) and Anna Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Melissa "Lisa" Chastain; his former wife Karen Greene (Danny Messer); his children, Renea Caldwell (Connie Caldwell), Christopher Chastain, Jr., Michelle Williams (Austin), Alan Chastain and Jennifer Chastain; his grandchildren, Austin McInturff, Collin Chastain, Bella Chastain, Alex Cana, Blake Williams, Nate Chastain, Jace Zamorano, Jordan Chastain and Jaylen Chastain; and his brothers, Lamar Chastain (Debra) and Paul Porter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cohutta Hills Community Church (5551 Red Clay Rd, Cohutta, GA 30710).
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to help with funeral expenses.
