With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Clayton Rice of Dalton, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Clayton left this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sons, Jeff Rice and Dwayne Woods; and his grandson Tyler Gross. He is survived by: his wife Holly Rice; his children, Brenda Rice (Michael Stallwood), Kimberly Rice of Dalton, GA and Coley; his daughter-in-law Tracy Brookshire of Ringgold, GA; his brother Winston; his sister-in-law Mary Phipps of Cincinnati, OH; and his grandchildren, Sidney Gross, Austin Brookshire, Hunter Brookshire, Bella Rice and Jamison Woods.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dalton First Church of the Nazarene (2525 Chattanooga Rd, Rocky Face, GA 30740).
