She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Lee "Pete" and Eunice Geneva Clark Roper; her husband Pat Edward Watkins; and her siblings, Clarence Noel Roper and Shelia Marie Roper.
She is survived by: her children, Joey Edward Watkins (Tina) of Dalton, GA and Kimberly W. Short (James) of Adairsville, GA; her granddaughter Ashleigh Watkins (Jamie Carrell); her great grandchildren, Kaden Watkins, Carson Carrell, Brayson Carrell, Elise Carrell, Levi Carrell, Lynn Carrell, Destyni Smith and Raheem Baker; her sister-in-law Brenda Wable Roper of Powder Springs, GA; and her nephew Derrick Roper of Dalton, GA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Ponders Melrose Chapel (138 Melrose Dr, Dalton, GA 30721).
