It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Geneva Patton of Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Patton; her parents, Emmett Jones and Lena Stewart Jones; her son James Eddie Patton; and her siblings, Emmett Jones Jr., Guy Jones, Harold Jones, Ralph Jones, Haynie Jones Hammond, Katherine Jones Fricks, Ruth Jones Slayton and Sybil Jones.
She is survived by: her son Tony Patton (Connie); her grandsons, Cory Patton (Samantha) and Jason Richmond; and her daughter-in-law Rita Patton. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
