He is survived by: his wife Krista "Andrea" Bearden Phipps of Dalton, Georgia; his son Kevin Phipps (Lyndsay) of Snellville; his grandson Kristopher Phipps (Jauqui) of Clermont; his great grandchildren, Brooke Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia and Brandi Johnson Brumlow (Jake) of Calhoun; his brother Michael Clarkson Phipps (Susan); and his close friend Izzy. He is also survived by three daughters and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
