He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Martin and Pearl Long; and his mother Lucille Long. He is survived by: his wife Linda Long; his children, Brian (Mimi Miracle Long), Chad Long of Dalton, GA and Renee; his son-in-law David Grubbs of Decatur, GA; and his grandchildren, Rachel Grubbs and Adam Grubbs.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
