He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Ann Duckett Ball; his parents, William H. Ball and Nannie M. Boatwright Ball; his siblings, Hubert, Ray, Ralph, Mack, Arnold Ball and Helen Sumner; his parents-in-law, Troy and Gladys Duckett; and his brother-in-law James Duckett.
He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Bonds; his son-in-law William R. Cooper of Dalton; his sons, Dennis (Karen Ball) and Troy (Kris Ball); his grandchildren, Quincy Bonds, Ashley Long, Cazmon Bonds, Jordyn Wolcott, Rhea, Mark Walden, Alex Ball, Chloe Watson, Drake, Keylee and Bentley Ball; his siblings-in-law, Flossie Ball and Tommy Duckett; and his nephew Bill Sumner (Charlie). He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Floyd's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
