He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodson Grady Shepard and Virsey Lee Shepard; his sisters, Velma Jones, Betty Shepard Dallimore and Beatrice McDonald (Bea); his brother-in-law Frank Jones; his nephew Sam Jones; and his mother-in-law Lois Roberts Pope.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his sons, Scott W. Shepard (Catrina) and Gregory L. Shepard; his sisters, Nell Stankewicz, Hazel Campbell (Lloyd) and Peggy Patterson (Mike); and his friend Tony Fuscillaro.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Salem Baptist Church in Frank's name.
