He was predeceased by: his parents, Dillard Foster and Hulda Foster; his son Christopher Forrester; and his siblings, Phyllis Bowen, Patsy Kirser, Diana Hodges, Deann Foster and David Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Foster; his children, Celeste Rogers, Justin Foster and Amanda Cartwright; and his siblings, Lewis Foster of Scott County, Howard Foster of Chatsworth, GA, Luke Foster of Jamestown, TN, Donald Foster of Chatsworth, GA, Joyce Foster of Knoxville, TN, Dorsie Foster of Florida and Georgia Forster of Oneida, TN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Center Valley United Methodist Church (5394 GA-225, Chatsworth, GA 30705).
