He was loved and cherished by many people including: his family Waffle House; his parents, Ignacio Gómez and Trinidad "Trini" Cavazos Gómez Pérez; his siblings, Annie Gómez Quinn, Henry Gómez and Amaro Pérez; his cousin José "Joe" Cavazos; his mother-in-law Lither Stanley; his nephews, Tim and Mark DeWeese; his children, Kena Gómez Wheeler, James "Jimmy" Gómez of Tunnel Hill, Kenny Gómez (Tammy) of Chatsworth and Trini Gómez (Wayne) of Dalton, Georgia.; his siblings, Mary Gómez of Kokomo, Alice Rodriguez, Linda Hesless (Mario) of Eagle Pass and Ray Pérez (Debra) of Marana, Arizona; his cousin Jesse "Tink" Gonzales of Kokomo; his grandchildren, Nicholas Barnes (Chrystal) of Tunnel Hill, Tyler Mathis of Dalton, Drew Wheeler (Holly) of Dalton, Aaron Grant (Paiton) of Chatsworth and Britney Grant Murphy (Kevin) of Sugar Hill, Georgia; and his friend Kae Stanley of Tunnel Hill. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, several great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
