He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Cecil and Katie Lee Deverell; his wife Shirley Deverell; and his siblings, Ralph, Cecil Deverell and Catherine Deverell.

He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy (Terry Barbree) and Connie (Neal Tam); his grandchildren, Caleb Barbree, Caden Barbree, Bailey Tam (Rebecca), Caitlyn Wells (Luke) and Kaylee Tam; and his great grandchild Arilyn Wells.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
