He is survived by: his wife Linda Dwight O'Neal; his children, Emily Reed (Oscar), Tamara Childs, Rodney O'Neal (Toya), Marlon O'Neal (Evette), Bradford O'Neal (Panzella) and Patrick Ryan O'Neal, Sr.; his grandchildren, Taylor Harvey, Morgan O'Neal, Jasmyne O'Neal, Landon O'Neal, Nilah Reed, Jordan Childs, Sgt. Christopher Childs, LaBreasha Childs, Karynn Beck and Patrick Ryan O'Neal, Jr.; his cousin William Jackson (Denise); and his close friends, Bettye Spraggins, Linda Cofield, Lamar "Red" Cofield and William James "Jimmy" Willis, Jr. (Joyce).

The lying in state will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Willis Funeral Home (2011 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Dalton, GA 30721). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain Ridge Baptist Church (1401 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Dalton, GA 30721).
