He is survived by: his son Gary Wimpey Jr.; his daughter-in-law Lyn Wimpey of Tunnel Hill; his daughter Teresa; his son-in-law Steven Tibbs of Dalton; his sisters, Linda Ridley of Chatsworth and Brenda (Ruel Manning); his grandchildren, Taylor Dunn, Nachelle Bredeson (Tylor), Austin Tibbs (Ashlyn) and Landyn Tibbs; his great grandchildren, Cooper Burnette, Skye, Braxton, Izzy, Jace Bredeson and Kayce Tate Tibbs; and his close friend Jim Ledford. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
