She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nelson Hughes and Annie Mae Crider-Hughes; her former husband Bob Arrendale; her husband Albert Walker; and her children, Jessie and Holly Arrendale.
She is survived by: her children, James Arrendale, Bobby Arrendale, Bertha Clarke, Fostene Wimpy, Shontene Belcher, Nina Williams, Ann Jerrell, Sarah Delaney and Wanda Howell; and her brothers, Jacob Hughes and Edward Hughes. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
