He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Hagin and Edna Hagin; his brother Donald; his sister-in-law Opal Hagin; his sisters, Gladys (Floyd Hedden) and Detta (Gus Hicks); his parents-in-law, George and Leonia Hooper Massengill; his nephews, Randy Hedden, Elden Hasty and Jonathan Newberry; and his niece Prudence Newberry Byers.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hagin; his daughter Pam Hagin Osborn; his close friend Zander Cruz; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Newberry and Donna Frazier; and his nieces and nephews, Ricky Witt, Rodney Hedden, Jimmy Hagin, Jeff Hagin, Shaun Holmes, Regina Fisher, Donna Long, Melisa Gamlen and Valerie Cruz.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
