Helen leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Helen’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Helen will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ellsworth Boyd; and her siblings, John Barnard and Francis Jones. She is survived by: her sister Marian Talley of Bedford, VA.; and her children, Linda Reed (Robert) of Woodbine, MD, Phyllis Ryser (John) of Damascus, OH, Cyndee Park (David) of Dalton and Jim Boyd (Cheri) of Dalton. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rock Bridge Community Church (123 W Gordon St, Dalton, GA 30720).
Helen's family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made to Rebuilding Hope, 2940 Old Grade Road, Dalton, GA 30721.
