He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Ratcliff and Frankie D Mullinax Ratcliff; his siblings, Dorothy Rackley, Lena Ruth Green, Mildred Cagle, Linda Henderson and Eugene Ratcliff; and his son Kevin Ownby.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Dockery Ratcliff; and his children, Daniel, Sharon Ratcliff, Neil Ratcliff, Garrick Ratcliff, Jennifer Cloer, Sherry, Billy Crowe and Richie Hall. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
